Race for the Cure 2005 marks the 22nd anniversary year of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation's Komen Race for the Cure®, the largest series of 5K runs/walks in the world. More than 1.5 million people are expected to participate. Not able to do the 5K? There's a virtual race that lets you participate via your computer. Proceeds from the series help fund breast cancer research and breast health initiatives (such as screening and treatment programs) on a local level. Visit the Susan G.
