		The Drive Against Prostate Cancer Too busy to go for a prostate screening? Well, prostate cancer screening may be coming to you. The National Prostate Cancer Coalition's (NPCC) 39-foot mobile screening unit tours the US to offer free screenings — prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test) and a digital rectal exam (DRE). About 10,000 men take advantage of this opportunity every year. Check out the NPCC's Web site to see when the screening will be in your area.

		Great American Smokeout Every year on the third Thursday in November, the American Cancer Society sponsors the Great American Smokeout, which encourages smokers to quit cigarettes for at least one day. More people quit smoking on this day than any other day of the year. This year's event takes place on November 17. If you're still smoking, why not make this day your first of many smoke-free days to come?
